When you register at the Profuomo website, we ask you to fill in your personal data. Some of this information is required. This data is needed to process an order and to inform you about the status of your order.
The purpose of collecting your personal data is to provide you with the best possible service. For example, to ship your order correctly or to share tracking information. We do everything in our power to process your data carefully and keep it secure.

Which data do you leave behind?
When you place an order, you are entering into an agreement. We ask you for the following personal data:
- (Invoice) address
- E-mail address
- Payment details
This information is used by us to correctly handle your order, but it is also used for other reasons. For example, service, warranty, analyses and personal marketing campaigns. Your personal data is protected by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which makes the data unreadable and untraceable to third parties. For what purposes are these personal data collected?
When entering into an agreement and thus for:
- To be able to mail you when your order is being prepared
- When you contact our customer service
Only with your permission, your data will be used for:
- Creating a customer account
- For sending our newsletters or other communications by e-mail or post
- For advertising via social media or Google (only when you accept our marketing cookies)
In addition, we are legally obliged to record personal data. This is in connection with legal retention obligations and, if applicable, the recognition and prevention of fraud.
How long will your data be stored?
We do not keep your personal data any longer than necessary for the fulfilment of the agreement entered into. If there is a legal retention obligation, we will store your data for the legal period.
When you contact Profuomo via e-mail or any other channel, these messages are stored in our archive in accordance with the legal retention obligation. Sometimes we ask for personal information, in order to verify your identity and to answer your question in the best possible way.
You can subscribe to our newsletter by entering your e-mail address. All newsletters contain an unsubscribe link in case you no longer wish to receive our newsletter. You can also withdraw your permission via your customer account. We will not send you any mailings without your permission.
For customers who want to go through the Profuomo ordering process faster and want to see all their order information at one central place, we offer an environment where you can leave your personal data and create your own account. Without your permission, your data will not be stored in this environment.
Profuomo will not provide any of your personal data to third parties, except for:
- The execution of our agreement with you as a customer (think of logistics and payment partners)
- Sending the newsletter (if you have signed up)
- Marketing purposes (if you have accepted marketing cookies)
- Legal obligations
We work with third parties, among other things, for logistics, payments, IT and marketing. We have strict agreements with all these parties regarding privacy and if personal data is shared, we will first enter into a processing agreement.
View, edit or delete
You can log into your personal Profuomo account with your e-mail address and password. In this account you can view and edit your personal data and view your order history. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the use of your personal data, please contact us at email@example.com. If you would like us to remove or supplement your personal data, you can always send us a request. If you want to delete your data, you have the right to be forgotten. We will remove your personal data from our systems using a procedure that involves an ID check and question about the reason for deletion.
At Profuomo we think that the protection of your personal data is very important and we therefore have strict rules to prevent abuse, loss, disclosure and unauthorized access to your data. To this end, we make use of a password policy, access security, hashing and we always work with an SSL certificate.
